2021 is the 20th anniversary of Divers Down on the East Coast. To celebrate in style, we have treated ourselves and you, with a move to a new centrally located location, with the addition of a unique new feature.
Following an expansion to larger premises in Al Quoz Industrial Area, with our sister company Dive Garage, we have installed a bespoke training pool for student divers – but with a twist.
The heated fresh-water fully treated pool has been engineered and constructed from two shipping containers, complete with 3 plexiglass windows to see what is happening inside the pool and a viewing deck to watch from above.
The pool was designed, engineered and built specifically for the needs of diver training courses.
The dual-level pool will allow on-site instructors to teach people – from their first breaths underwater to professional level courses.
With a shallower area at a depth of 1.4 metres and a length of 6m and a deeper section at 2.7m with a length of 12m, it is a perfect pool to hone your skills and master your diving performance.
Al Quoz is a central location in Dubai for your diving classes, from a quick skills scuba refresh before your dives in Fujairah, to your confined water sessions for your Open Water Diver course, to the top service for your professional training as a PADI Divemaster or Instructor.
Evening classes during the week are also available ‘till 8 pm to best accommodate student’s needs.
The swimming pool is featured in our flagship store Dive Garage where you can find equipment from the leading suppliers in the diving industry including Cressi, Dive Rite, Waterproof, TUSA, Shearwater, Suunto, Bonex and many more. Also on site we have a purpose-built servicing workshop offering equipment maintenance and repair from regulators to drysuits, as well as the GCC’s factory approved Suunto Service Center.
