All our pleasure diving is done from our East Coast center in the Miramar Hotel, Al Aqah where we offer 2 morning dives, an afternoon dive and a night dive (night dive minimum of 4 divers). You want to be at the diving center between 45 to 60 minutes before your first dive so you get enough time for paper work, kitting and dive briefing which takes place on land 20 minutes before the dive time. Please note we are unable to hold the boats if you are delayed. On weekdays, we offer 2 dives in the morning, departing at 9.30am and 1 dive in the afternoon departing at 3.30pm. On the weekend or public holiday, we have 3 dives scheduled as follows:
- 9am, 11 am, and 3pm: single tank dives, mainly dedicated to advanced level divers (deep dives)
- 9.30 am, 12.30 pm and 3.30 pm: single tank dives for open water divers, dedicated to local dive sites
- 10 am for a two tank dive trip and 3.30 pm for a single tank dive. The two tank dive trip is mostly in the Khorfakkan area and dedicated to any certification level

Start scuba diving from only 8 years old……….. Bubblemaker is as fun as it sounds – a chance for kids to blow bubbles by scuba diving. Children who are at least 8 years old can use scuba gear to breathe underwater and swim around in shallow water. Have a party or celebrate a birthday by throwing a memorable, exciting Bubblemaker event with friends and family at Divers Down Fujairah or Dubai.Pre requisites:

Discover an amazing new world……..
Have you always wondered what it’s like to breathe underwater? If you want to try scuba diving, but aren’t quite ready to take the plunge into a certification course, Discover Scuba Diving is for you.The Discover Scuba Diving program takes about 4 hours to complete and includes a classroom session; a pool session and either one or two dives with your instructor in the sea. Please note this program is not a certification course but an introduction for you to experience the beautiful marine life in the sea.
The cost for 1 dive is 575AED and 2 dives (on the same day) is 735 AED. Timings are 09.30 am or 12.30 pm if you wish to complete 2 dives you will be required to start at 09.30 am.
There is a requirement to be medically fit, please download the medical questionnaire provided below and follow instructions in case of a YES answer.
Pre requisites:
- At least 10 years old
- Reasonable physical health. Please download the medical questionnaire and follow instruction in case of YES answer . Some conditions requires a written medical approval for diving. Please note we will not be able to take you diving in case of a condition without a medical approval
- Reasonably comfortable in deep water and able to swim

The AWARE - Coral Reef Conservation Specialty course helps you appreciate the complexity of these habitats and teaches you how you can help conserve these vital systems. Anyone who has an interest in the aquatic world can take this course. Curious about technical (tec) diving, but not sure about jumping into a course? Discover Tec is a short confined water experience that allows you to give technical diving a try. You get to wear all the extra tec diving gear and take it for a test dive. We may introduce a few basic skills, such as primary to secondary regulator switch and gas shutdown procedures. If you’re interested in tec diving and are a PADI Open Water Diver, at least 18 years old, and have a minimum of 10 logged dives, you qualify for Discover Tec. Prerequisites:
- PADI Open Water Diver (or equivalent)
- Have a minimum of 10 logged dives
- Are at least 18 years old

Explore with just a mask and snorkel……….. Skin diving is snorkeling while making breath-hold dives to observe aquatic life, up close and personal. It’s a great way to explore the underwater world when you’re not able to scuba dive or if scuba diving just isn’t your thing. The PADI Skin Diver course teaches you how to enjoy watching life below the surface and comfortably venture underwater for short visits, whether you dive in a local freshwater lake or the big blue ocean, at home or on holiday at a dive destination. Prerequisites:
- At least 8 years old
- Reasonable physical health
- Comfortable in the water

More scuba diving and more fun sharing what interests you – that’s what teaching specialty diver courses is all about. The best way to learn how to make your specialty diver courses really special, is to take a Specialty Instructor course from one of our PADI Course Director’s. Specialty Instructor courses provide teaching tips, marketing ideas, the course skills and hands-on experience that you can implement right away. With many standard PADI Specialty Diver courses, and numerous distinctive specialties, you have lots to choose from – so get going. All PADI Instructors will benefit from taking Specialty Instructor training courses, especially those who are ready to step up to the Master Scuba Diver Trainer (MSDT) rating, which requires at least five PADI Specialty Instructor certifications. PADI Assistant Instructors, instructor candidates in training, and PADI Divemasters are eligible to enroll in certain specialty instructor courses. Some specialties have additional prerequisites and exit requirements – please ask us for details.Prerequisites:

Rebreathers are intriguing. They’re cutting-edge dive technology. Always wanted to try one? The Discover Rebreather program lets you dive with a recreational rebreather or a technical closed circuit rebreather (CCR) in controlled conditions with a PADI Rebreather Instructor or Tec CCR Instructor. You'll discover how quiet diving can be without bubbles and quickly learn how different buoyancy control is. A Discover Rebreather experience is an ideal opportunity to give rebreathers a try before you sign up for a full course. Or, if you’re already a rebreather diver, you can participate in the program to try a new or different type of rebreather. Prerequisites:
- Be a PADI Open Water Diver (or equivalent)
- Have a minimum of 15 logged dives
- Are at least 18 years old
Divers Down is the only 5 Star CDC (Career Development Center) in the Middle East, whilst in Dubai we have a 5 Star Instructor Development center.
