All our pleasure diving is done from our East Coast center in the Miramar Hotel, Al Aqah where we offer 2 morning dives, an afternoon dive and a night dive (night dive minimum of 4 divers). You want to be at the diving center between 45 to 60 minutes before your first dive so you get enough time for paper work, kitting and dive briefing which takes place on land 20 minutes before the dive time. Please note we are unable to hold the boats if you are delayed. On weekdays, we offer 2 dives in the morning, departing at 9.30am and 1 dive in the afternoon departing at 3.30pm. On the weekend or public holiday, we have 3 dives scheduled as follows:
- 9am, 11 am, and 3pm: single tank dives, mainly dedicated to advanced level divers (deep dives)
- 9.30 am, 12.30 pm and 3.30 pm: single tank dives for open water divers, dedicated to local dive sites
- 10 am for a two tank dive trip and 3.30 pm for a single tank dive. The two tank dive trip is mostly in the Khorfakkan area and dedicated to any certification level

Become a certified diver!
At Divers Down we run the PADI Open Water Diver Course throughout the week instructor permitting, as we don’t ‘schedule’ dates or require minimum numbers and you can start straight on the course. We, as your Dive Centre, will also make sure that, for the entire duration of your course (max. 90 days), you benefit from important diving medical assistance and insurance services provided by DAN Europe. You will receive an email with your DAN membership before your dives. When you have finished the Open Water Diver course you will be qualified to go diving with a buddy to a maximum depth of 18 meters. Prerequisites:- 10 years old minimum
- Reasonable health. Please download the medical questionnaire and follow instruction in case of a YES answer. Some conditions require a written medical approval for diving. Please note we will not be able to start the practical part of the course in case of a condition without a medical approval
- Able to swim continuously for 200m and float unaided for 10 minutes
- Complete the theory online via PADI eLearning. To sign up, please drop us a message with your name, surname and email address. We will assign you a payment link of 555AED per person. Please inform us when payment is processed so we will be able to assign your e-learning code via email.
Open Water Diver Course – Gold Option.
Includes the Open Water Diver Course + eLearning + Nitrox Specialty + 1 Adventure Dive. With this option you will spend 3 days at our Fujairah dive center and benefit from the additional courses and dives. This option includes 5 boat dives.Open Water Diver Course – Platinum Option
This is the Gold Option, but with complete flexibility. You can decide when and where you would like to do your training. If you have a suitable pool at home, we will even come to you! This option includes 4 boat dives. -
Discover an amazing new world……..
Have you always wondered what it’s like to breathe underwater? If you want to try scuba diving, but aren’t quite ready to take the plunge into a certification course, Discover Scuba Diving is for you.The Discover Scuba Diving program takes about 4 hours to complete and includes a classroom session; a pool session and either one or two dives with your instructor in the sea. Please note this program is not a certification course but an introduction for you to experience the beautiful marine life in the sea.
The cost for 1 dive is 575AED and 2 dives (on the same day) is 735 AED. Timings are 09.30 am or 12.30 pm if you wish to complete 2 dives you will be required to start at 09.30 am.
There is a requirement to be medically fit, please download the medical questionnaire provided below and follow instructions in case of a YES answer.

Exploration, Excitement, Experiences……….. You don’t have to be “advanced” – it’s designed to advance your diving, so you can start right after earning your PADI Open Water Diver certification. The course helps build confidence and expand your scuba skills through different Adventure Dives. The Advanced Open Water course is the next step to further your education and experience, as well as increasing your depth limit to 30 meters. It takes 2 days and there are 5 dives. You will do a Deep Dive and a Navigation Dive, as well as 3 dives of your choice. The most popular adventure dives here, are peak performance buoyancy, wreck, naturalist, night (additional 55 AED for night dive) and many more. You’ll plan your learning path with your instructor by choosing from a long list of Adventure Dives. Get credit! Each Adventure Dive may credit toward the first dive of the corresponding PADI Specialty Diver Course. If you’ve already taken a specialty diver course, ask your instructor if you’ve earned credit for an Adventure Dive. If you’re already an Adventure Diver, you only need to complete two more Adventure Dives to earn the Advanced Open Water Diver certification. You can also combine the Nitrox Course specialty together with your Advanced Open Water diver course at a special price of 475 AED including manual and certification fees (course must be completed at the same time of the AOWC). The amount paid will then be deducted from the final payment when you start the course. 2.Once you have completed your theory through E-Learning you will join us for 2 days in Fujairah to complete your practical training. Ready to help yourself…..and others……….. Scuba divers describe the PADI Rescue Diver course as the most challenging, yet most rewarding course they’ve ever taken. Why? Because you learn to prevent and manage problems in the water, and become more confident in your skills as a diver, knowing that you can help others if needed. During the course, you learn to become a better buddy by practicing problem solving skills until they become second nature. Plus, the course is just fun – it’s serious, but still allows for lots of laughter in between the focused learning. You also need to have Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care (CPR and First Aid) training within the past 24 months. You can complete this training during the Rescue Diver course. The PADI Rescue Diver course prepares you to deal with dive emergencies, minor and major, using a variety of techniques. Through knowledge development and rescue exercises, you learn what to look for and how to respond. During rescue scenarios, you put into practice your knowledge and skills.It is recommended you finish all the theory before you come here to do your course. That way you can enjoy your evenings and relax. We run the PADI Rescue Diver Course whenever we have someone who is interested so just contact us with the dates that suit you best.

Curious about technical (tec) diving, but not sure about jumping into a course? Discover Tec is a short confined water experience that allows you to give technical diving a try. You get to wear all the extra tec diving gear and take it for a test dive. We may introduce a few basic skills, such as primary to secondary regulator switch and gas shutdown procedures. If you’re interested in tec diving and are a PADI Open Water Diver, at least 18 years old, and have a minimum of 10 logged dives, you qualify for Discover Tec. Prerequisites:
- PADI Open Water Diver (or equivalent)
- Have a minimum of 10 logged dives
- Are at least 18 years old
Divers Down is the only 5 Star CDC (Career Development Center) in the Middle East, whilst in Dubai we have a 5 Star Instructor Development center.
