  • PADI Rescue Diver

    AED1,470.00 3 hours
Ready to help yourself…..and others……….. Scuba divers describe the PADI Rescue Diver course as the most challenging, yet most rewarding course they’ve ever taken. Why? Because you learn to prevent and manage problems in the water, and become more confident in your skills as a diver, knowing that you can help others if needed. During the course, you learn to become a better buddy by practicing problem solving skills until they become second nature. Plus, the course is just fun – it’s serious, but still allows for lots of laughter in between the focused learning. You also need to have Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care (CPR and First Aid) training within the past 24 months. You can complete this training during the Rescue Diver course. The PADI Rescue Diver course prepares you to deal with dive emergencies, minor and major, using a variety of techniques. Through knowledge development and rescue exercises, you learn what to look for and how to respond. During rescue scenarios, you put into practice your knowledge and skills.

  • Dry Suit Diver

    AED1,320.00 5 hours
Want to stay warm? Want to extend your scuba diving season? Then dive dry. A dry suit seals you off from the water and keeps you comfortable, even in surprisingly cold water. There is incredible diving in the world’s cooler regions and in some areas, conditions are even better in colder months. Becoming a dry suit diver allows you to expand your boundaries and dive more places, more often.

    • 10 years old
    Location – Dubai or Fujairah
  • Through hands-on training during two scuba dives and guidance from your PADI Professional, you'll discover:
    • How to choose the right underwater camera system for you.
    • The PADI SEA (Shoot, Examine, Adjust) method for getting great shots quickly.
    • Principles for good composition of underwater images.
    • Practical techniques to take great photos with your digital camera.

    Prerequisites & Requirements

Age Requirement - 10 years or older
Course Prerequisites - Certified diver / Jr. OW Diver (or qualifying certification)
Time Commitment - Approximately 12 hours
  • PADI Scuba Diver Vs. PADI Open Water DiverMaximum Depth

    – Open Water Divers can plan and execute dives with a certified buddy or dive professional to a maximum depth of 18 meters/60 feet. – Scuba Divers may only dive under the direct supervision of a PADI Professional (an Instructor) to a maximum depth of 12 meters/40 feet.

What is the Benefit of Diving Deeper?

Deeper doesn’t always mean better. Thousands of amazing dive sites worldwide can be dived at 12 meters/40 feet or less! However, being able to dive deeper, to 18 meters/60 feet as an open water diver, opens up even more dive sites for you to explore. Additionally, some marine species live in deeper waters, so diving deeper gives you an increased chance of seeing them. There are also wrecks to explore, different topographies, and different corals at depths between 12 meters/40 feet and 18 meters/60 feet.

PADI Scuba Diver - Course Requirements

    Scuba Diver (2-3 days)

    1. Learn fundamental concepts about scuba through PADI eLearning or classroom instruction.
    2. Complete three confined water (pool) skill practice sessions.
    3. Complete two open water (ocean/lake) dives.
The PADI Scuba Diver course is (roughly) the first half of the PADI Open Water Diver course – which means you can upgrade with ease later. The PADI Scuba Diver course omits some of the more challenging skills that are included in the full Open Water Diver course (which you will complete if you upgrade later). It is a good choice for aspiring scuba divers who have limited time, are not sure they want to commit to a full open water course yet, or for children (over the age of 10 years).

Upgrading from PADI Scuba Diver to PADI Open Water Diver

Looking at the information above, we can see that to upgrade to Open Water, Scuba Divers need to:
    1. Complete the remaining 2 out of 5 confined water (pool) skill practice sessions.
    2. Complete the remaining 2 out of 4 open water dives.
    3. Complete two additional knowledge development modules, a quiz, and a final exam.
    4. Additionally, complete a surface swim.

    Teaching people how to respond………..

CPR and first aid are key skills that are important to everyone, not just scuba divers. As an Emergency First Response Instructor, you teach skills based on internationally recognized emergency care guidelines, and you can offer courses to anyone. The great thing about the EFR courses, is they make learning easy by providing a comfortable environment to practice emergency care skills. Your students finish the course feeling confident with their new skills and ready to help someone in need. The only requirements are that you’re at least 18 years old and have Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care (CPR and First Aid) training within the past 24 months. An EFR Instructor rating is required to become a PADI Instructor, but you don’t have to wait until you’re ready to go pro. You can complete or refresh this training during your PADI Instructor training.
